The Latest Virtual Reality Troupe Opens Its Doors In Amsterdam
In the middle Of Amsterdam, a new movie troupe has been launched. The strongly constructed building is made of glass and concrete and stands on the shores of the city water channel. The Dutch city is usually surrounded with bicycles.
Tickets are sold at 14 dollars and the customer is handed a Samsung Gear VR, a smartphone and Sennheiser HD 201 headphones. All the gadgets are light to carry and are connected by just a single cable. The troupe has circular chairs that gives users the ability to achieve a total experience while spinning around.
The customers can choose to watch a VR film called, In Your Face, a Syrian-based film which asks the film’s viewers about their opinion if a war asylum seeker arrives at their door unexpectedly. There are simple movies to choose from specially designed for kids as well.
The activity lasts for only half an hour, but still they have different movies to view during the day and in the evenings. The VR troupe can handle around 400 customers and is located at Oosterkodskade 5, 1011 where one can walk. Other troupes can be found in London, Berlin, Paris and in Madrid.
