Minecraft Virtual Reality Has Arrived
Just like turkey and gravy, Minecraft and virtual reality are two peas in a pod. Minecraft VR was created especially with the HTC Vive in mind. You need the HTC Vive and the actual game in order to play.
Vive’s version of Minecraft is very similar to the normal game and is slower. You hold your weapon or toll with your right hand and your left hand holds your inventory, kind of like a digital painter sees when using Google’s Tilt Brush VR app for painting art.
You simply use your right hand to point where you want to move things in your storage. You’re able to teleport and walk throughout the game, which is normal in many VR games.
The version that’s out now of VR Minecraft is pretty cool, but does seem to need more work to get to its full potential. If you like Minecraft and have an HTC Vive, then you sure may want to check this out.
