NVIDIA Conference Focuses on Virtual Reality This Year
Many consumer VR headsets are soon going to be shipping out across the world. Because of this, NVIDIA has put virtual reality as a top priority at their annual GTC conference.
The GTC conference is hosted in San Jose, CA starting on April 4th and going through April 7th. They’re planning on having a dedicated VR track that will feature 45 talks/sessions from a slew of industry experts.
Some of the speakers include Jaunt VR CTO, Arthur Van Hoff and Unity Principal Engineer, Amir Ebrahimi. There will be many companies including Audi and OTOY among others. At the conference, there’s going to be a “VR Village” where attendees will be able to explore all of the updated VR technologies.
In addition to the above, there’s going to be a showcase as well for 8 startup companies to present their virtual reality ideas on stage to compete for $30k in cash and prizes.
