Eon plans on VR becoming more accessible and wants athletes to utilize virtual reality to get an edge. The Sidekig headset costs $99 and the Football software costs $39 upwards.
Players are simulating specific plays and colleges are putting up real money. For example, Purdue University is using virtual reality software for their quarterbacks to help them simulate plays. They’re paying $3,000 – $10,000 to be able to input their custom plays.
Some people have said they get motion sickness when using virtual reality, but many have said it’s very effective.
