Samsung Announces New Motion Headphones
Samsung has already started moving towards virtual reality with their Gear VR headset. Apparently, they’re not stopping there.
Samsung announced that they have been creating the Samsung Entrim 4D motion headphones. The headphones that are 4D combine a process called Galvanic Vestibular Stimulation with a set of algorithms that enable the user to have a sensory overload. This is done by “tricking the part of the ear that regulates your balance and motion into making you feel like you are a part of the excitement.”
Samsung’s ear experts, said that it “sends specific electric messages to a nerve in the ear, the VR accessory synchronizes your body with changing movements in video content.”
For people that aren’t looking to spend a ton of money, the Gear VR and a pair of these headphones could be the answer they’re looking for. Although, the Entrim 4D is still being worked on by over 1,500 engineers and there isn’t a release date yet.
