UK Retailer, Curry, Introduces the New HTC Vive
The consumers are eagerly waiting for the arrival of the 2 main VR systems, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. However, in order to know how it works, one should operate it personally. UK Curry is the first retailer to give its customers an in-store VR demonstration with HTC Vive. It took a step further of spreading the VR across its 5 main stores where customers will have a chance of laying their hands on the HTC. Though not readily available in the market, orders are being invited.
They have designated a special area where one can view the Vive alone, but to anyone willing to be there is supposed to be ready to wait because there is no any booking available. Nothing has been said about what consumers will be able to view but most likely it will be the HTC and the Vive selections.
Although the VR showcasing is only available in 5 main outlets, at lest it give a strong foundation of the HTC and valve in the UK. The US sellers won’t see a customer Oculus Rift until next month, although people that have already made their orders will be receiving them late in March.
